Pooch pods
An alternative to standard kennels. Purpose built bespoke wooden camping pods will provide comfortable sleeping quarters. (These spaces will fulfil and exceed the legal requirements under The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.
Each pod would sleep a maximum of 3 dogs at a time. (total number dependent on owner’s consent unless from the same household). Each pod will have an individual theme. The themes, although partially cosmetic, the particular themes will be strategically chosen to represent and mimic a living room/bedroom setting. A large percentage of the dogs I have cared for spend a large part of their day snoozing on their owner’s sofa/bed, listening to the radio/TV or comfortably sitting by the window to protect the home from those pesky postmen.Albeit some puppies/dogs are crate trained and are more than happy to reside in their own private and safe hideaway.
The importance of catering for each dog’s individual needs (and owner’s requests) is paramount. Each bed/ sofa/ or crate will be mobile and can be easily placed and removed dependent on the dogs need. Imagine picking a specific bed and preferred radio station for your dogs stay, and choosing their toys, sleep time and adding special requests…. Your only worry will be that your Pooch is having a better holiday than you.
